Dr. Dipanjan Bose is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Management at the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, where his research focused on power system resiliency assessment. His research integrates advanced methodologies such as machine learning, complex network theory, and resilience metrics to analyze and enhance the reliability of modern power systems. His work spans key areas including power system resilience, cascading failure analysis, renewable energy integration, carbon footprint reduction, and intelligent energy management. Dr. Bose has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference papers. He has also been actively involved in government-funded research projects aimed at developing smart and sustainable energy solutions. His current research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in renewable energy systems to improve grid resilience and support the transition toward net-zero energy goals. Through his academic and research contributions, Dr. Bose continues to advance sustainable, data-driven, and resilient power and energy systems.
